Holiday Weekend

Just in time for the holiday...

We will be open Friday thru Monday (Presidents Day, the 18th), 9:30am to 4pm. Come up and enjoy the new snow! The SKI BUS is running Saturday and Monday from Montpelier Gundersens, leaving at 8:30am.

New Webcam

The new Radio Tower Cam is located on the ridge line just west of the resort. The view is east looking toward the top of the chairlift, with Rays, Jays, and Backdoor down below. The first picture of the day is scheduled to appear around dawn and the last after dusk. Enjoy!

The Webcam is Back!

The image may look the same, but the camera itself has been completely rebuilt. We expect it will be more reliable and easier to maintain. Here's hoping, anyway. It looks like the next few days will be stormy. Keep an eye on the webcam!

Webcam Update

Have you noticed the webcam lately? Surely I just jinxed it, but we have recently completed several more upgrades in order to make it more reliable. The batteries charged up to full capacity during the sunny weather last week and all of the equipment has so far withstood this week's stormy weather.

The Peak Cam is located at the top of the chairlift at an elevation of 8,225 feet. The view is northwest looking down Levi. The first picture of the day is scheduled to appear at 6:30am and the last at 4:20pm.

The new report is built from data collected at the Hams Fork SNOTEL site, about ten miles east of Pine Creek. Our new report is updated twice daily, at 6am and 9am MT, from the latest SNOTEL data available.

So far the data at Hams Fork seems to be an accurate representation of the snow that has fallen on our mountain. Even so, the report should be considered provisional. We will amend the report with human-collected data from the mountain to improve the accuracy of the report as often as possible.

Open Thru Wednesday

Pine Creek will be open every day from Friday, February 13th to Wednesday, the 18th, including Valentine's Day and Presidents Day. Nine inches of new snow fell this week. We saved it for you! See you on the mountain!

Open This Friday!

It will be a White Christmas at Pine Creek this year. There is yet another foot of snow in the forecast:

After the weekend storm and the new snow tomorrow, this will surely be the best the mountain has looked on an opening day in 25 years!
